What it Claims to Do:
Registry Fix is able to scan your windows registry for the
following items. Missing file associations, invalid device
drivers and application paths, missing dll files, help files,
system fonts and much more. Some of our favorite features
that this program has does not come standard with many of
the other registry cleaners. These are a startup program
manager; add/remove program manager and browser object manager.
Of course, Registry Fix will make a full backup of your
registry before it makes any changes to your system
What it Actually Does:
After testing the product extensively, we
conluded that Registry Fix is both comprehensive and effective.
Our test computer ran much quicker after Registry Fix
removed all of the problems that it found. We especially
noticed a quicker startup of the PC, which makes us believe
there were many startup errors on our test PC.
Most of all, we enjoyed the ease of use and the speed
with which this program ran. Even though it contained
some advanced options, we felt that the overall usability
of the product was excellent, even for someone that was
not comfortable with technical programs.
Conclusion:
Registry Fix is a very solid and effective
registry repair program which is more suited for those
PC users looking for advanced options and more control
over their computer's settings.
This is one of those programs that we would recommend
to our mother, just because of it's ease of use and ability
to come through where you need it. Not only that, but
Registry Fix has some excellent customer service options
for it's owners, a definite plus in our book.
The bottom line is… if you are looking for a quick
and easy way to clean your registry, this program can
deliver that for you.
