What it Claims to Do:

The Error Doctor makes many of the same claims that are seen with other registry cleaners but they go about it from the opposite end. Instead of telling you all of the technical things that they're going to do with your computer, they simply let you know how your computer is going to benefit. For example, they claim to help keep your PC from crashing, running slowly, starting incorrectly, needing rebooting regularly and even getting rid of the dreaded "Blue Screen of Death".

What it Actually Does:

In our independent testing and according to many of the things that we read about the Error Doctor, this software was able to live up to its name very well. The interface of the program was easy to follow and we feel that even a computer beginner would be able to easily use the software to speed up their computer. The only problem that we did run into was the limitations that were imposed by the trial version, something that is fairly common among these types of programs.

Conclusion:

The Error Doctor did a great job of cleaning up our test computer and we were able to recognize a significant difference in the speed and quality with which our computer was running after using it. This is a very effective software that can easily be utilized by people who are new to technology as well as giving plenty of advanced features for those of us that enjoy tinkering.
